Aqua Israel - Ecology 2007, the eleventh annual international exhibition for infrastructure, environment and water technologies, will take place on December 12-13, 2006 in Tel Aviv's Trade Fairs and Convention Center. The exhibition, reputed to be Israel's largest international trade fair in these areas, will feature a host of new environmental subjects including clean energy, air pollution, marine pollution, river pollution, green building, noise, plastic recycling, water recycling, cellular antennas, etc.
Within the framework of the exhibition, professional conferences will take place with the participation of foremost professionals from Israel and abroad, on three central issues: water, energy and the environment.
One of the main issues at the exhibition will be the development of water technologies in Israel, in view of the fact that the Israeli government has decided to implement the "Agamim" plan for developing the water industry, with the intent of transforming Israel into a dominant force in the global water market. The global water market is currently estimated to be worth about $400 billion a year. The current export of the water industry from Israel is valued at $870 million a year.
Some 1500 foreign visitors participated in the tenth Aqua Israel Exhibition, which took place in the beginning of 2005. More than 100 exhibitors, including Israel's leading companies, will participate in the exhibition, and many foreign delegations are expected to visit.
